Matclasses use both the pilates mat, as well as small apparatus – balls, bands, rings and foam rollers – to support and challenge you.

Our classes are:
For those with no previous pilates experience. Exercises are designed to establish core stability, lengthen overused and tight muscles, and develop breathing technique and body awareness. Maximum 6 students per class.
Having established sound core stability, you now begin to challenge that stability with more and more dynamic movement. Improving posture is focused upon as is stamina and a stronger core. Maximum 12 per class.
incorporate “classical pilates” exercises into the class,working at a pace that establishes stamina, continual movement and ensures that every muscle of the body is both stretched and strengthened. Maximum 12 per class.
are tough. Classical pilates is the focus as is the perfection of technique in order to ensure that the movement always comes from the deep core muscles. You need to be injury free and ready to sweat. Maximum 12 per class.
are for qualified pilates teachers or for very advanced students. Prior permission is required to join this class. 90 Minutes in duration, fast paced, full classical mat repertoire, very New York style pilates.
is pure pilates but with the added benefit of getting and keeping the heartrate up to facilitate cardio fitness and fat burning. Continual fast-paced pilates for 90 straight minutes. Intermediate to Advanced Level students only.
are for 11-18 year olds and have proven very popular. Focusing on strengthening the core and back, stretching tight muscles, and balancing "backpack posture", with an intention to develop positive body awareness and healthy habits that will carry into adulthood.
Our "gentle" classes are just that, gentle. They are for those who perhaps are recovering from injury, or who have a condition that require them to work at a slower pace, or perhaps with a limited range of exercises. These classes ensure that absolutely everyone can benefit from pilates.
Pilates brings tremendous benefits to expectant mothers, but every pregnancy is different and every body responds to pregnancy in an unique way. Therefore your pilates program whilst pregnant should be modified for your body. We therefore keep our Pilates in Pregnancy classes to a maximum of 6 per class. Alternatively, you can work privately or share a private session with a friend for a completely tailored program.
